Spotlight on our internal fire extinguisher – specially designed for lithium
Published April 10, 2026

Our fire extinguisher uses a special agent, known as FPC , which works differently from conventional fire extinguishers. Instead of putting out the fire by cooling it or smothering the flames, it acts directly on the chemical reaction that fuels the fire. When activated, this solid substance transforms into a very fine mist (an aerosol). This mist neutralises the elements that allow the fire to burn (free radicals), which immediately stops combustion. Furthermore, it remains in the air long enough to prevent the fire from reigniting. It penetrates everywhere, like a gas, even into enclosed equipment. It does not deprive the room of oxygen (unlike other fire extinguishers). It does not damage electronics. It effectively limits the spread of a dangerous phenomenon known as thermal runaway (uncontrolled overheating of batteries). The FPC is integrated into automatic systems (fixed or miniature), often placed directly in electrical cabinets or technical compartments. Unlike portable fire extinguishers, it offers automatic, clean and tailored protection against risks associated with electricity or lithium batteries.
